The food is a must eat! Very creative and delicious. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. Dining area is a little small, however, the rustic decor makes up for the limited space. There is also a rear and front patio.

This place was a huge disappointment I should have realized with the late hours that most of the reviews would be drunk hungry people. The poutine was not good at all. I would only go here again if it was the only place that was open and I was absolutely starving. Even the person who served me smelled like alcohol which was not impressive.

This burger place is situated a little away from the heavy tourist areas so isn't as busy and crowded, and this a good place for a cheap and casual bite slightly away from it all.The burgers are well priced, with a special two cheeseburgers and fries assiette for under $10. They don't make the best (gourmet) burgers out there and are more like fast food, but the price makes it OK. There's also Poutine available, but we witnessed staff changing the menu whilst we were there so offerings may vary. Ketchup, vinegar and mustard are also available as condiments.There's ample seating here and you don't seem to be lining up to get inside and be served... and for the price, this isn't a bad place for a quick fast food meal.

Huge, delicious poutine. Kraft Dinner croquettes were just as it sounds like, but in a tasty way. Perfect spot for a cold winter comfort meal.

Great putine! The medium portion is really large. They also use real chicken which was a great combination. Staff was also very friendly and spoke English as well. Only down side was that the putine was a bit cold and they had a bit of a fruit fly problem. But still a great putine, and im sure they can fix the other problem

Freaking check.This is the only reasonable place open I know that stays open during Christmas and New Year's days. And they have plenty of choices of good poutine and very well served. Honestly, not expensive and the team is very courteous.Get ready to fight to find some places to sit... It's pretty crowded when no one else is open in the middle of the night.Congrats. Will definitively come back.

Large poutine was $15, but the other food items like burger and grilled cheese are more reasonably priced. Poutine was just ok, fries werent very hot and didn't melt the cheese curds.

Yes, their poutine is really the best although I wish they would serve more gravy because it is so delicious and not overly salty. But I know the way they serve it is perfect. And their servers and the main guy are all so friendly, probably one of the most welcoming people in Quebec City for an English speaker. A must visit place (skip all the fast food chains) and their mini poutine is good enough size for one person.

Not sure why this place is highly rated. It was mediocre. The cheese doesn’t melt at all. Toppings were okay. There’s better places for poutine. As requested by the restaurant’s response, service was fine. Ambience was okay...it was empty. The chicken poutine hardly had any gravy on it. I felt like I was eating regular fries topped with shredded chicken and some cheese.

Home cut fries and squeaky cheese with excellent gravy, I think this is one of the best I’ve had in Quebec City.

I've only had their poutine la cochonne and I didn't heed their warning and went got a regular size. I would say go for the small size and go for the regular for 2 people. The service was good, I was trying to finish my poutine and it got dry at the end, they were nice enough to give me extra sauce, no charge.

This was one of the first experiences of poutine in Quebec and it was AMAZING. Friendly staff and small restaurant that opens out onto the street. Overflowing fries and cheese and gravy... simply the best. Just a warning though... the grande is VERY grande ;)

Snack bar is near Hilton Quebec. When I visit this place, I could find many tour people to taste food in Quebec. but it is no tip and no table service. it is good for quick bite and travlers. it haa putin which is famous sourced fried potato. hamburger is also not bad. they also offer high chair for children. snack bar is good and kind also.

Good place to stop for a evening snack. Charming interior that makes your poutine, burger or grilled cheese taste even better. Staff happily takes your order in English if you like me stumble through french. The onion rings are served with honey, and that blew mind in a good way. So swing in have a beer and get the perfect snack!

Poutine sizes are very generous with fresh cut potatoes. Menu has great selection of snacks/late night options, with great prices. The washroom is small and was missing soap when I visited. Will visit again.

Super cool atmosphere, great huge fries, friendly staff. The chairs are wooden logs like a cabin style. This place has character and warmth, great portions as well. Open very late, bonus.

The menu offered a really good variety of poutine options, so I had high hopes. Staff was very friendly and we got our food very quickly, which was great since we were headed out for some sight seeing. When the food came out it looked great, but it was VERY salty (everyone in our group of 5 agreed) and it overpowered the meal so much that I couldn’t finish it, which was disappointing.

A traditional local greasy spoon. The menu ticks all the right cases. The pain a la viande while good is not as great as the gros hector fame . And would definitely be better with minced onion. Conveniently located near the touristic old town and the convention center. Nice rustic decor. Will definitely be back to sample burgers and poutine.

Fries are fresh and cut not frozen! A+ to that. The drop in stars was the burger. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger and all I can say is Yuk. It was a frozen pre cooked patty. I noticed everyone in there was getting the Poutine and that looked amazing! I will go back to give that a try for sure!

"La cochone" will get you the poutines of poutines. I hardly eat this, but visiting this place I couldn't resist.
